Adolph T. “Tom” Pasterczyk, 94, of Chicopee, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was a manager at the Chicopee Lodge of Elks 1849 for four years and retired in 1995. Tom was the Elk of the Year. He was born on November 22, 1926 in Chicopee and was a life long resident. He was the son of the late John and Victoria (Wudyka) Pasterczyk. Tom was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus, a member of the Chicopee Lodge of Elks 1849 and the American Legion, Post 452. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Tom is predeceased by his wife, Anita M. (Fagnant) Pasterczyk, who died in 2012; his brothers, Matthew, Fred, Edward and Joseph and his sisters, Frances Zwirblia, Josephine Demski, Adele Spezeski and Mabel O’Neill. He is survived by his sister, Melanie “Mollie” Konapacki and close companion, Joan Leonard, sister-in-law, Lucille Barna, brother-in-law, Gerald Fagnant and many loving nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. All services are private.
