Ann R. (Luszcz) Cyboron, 86, of Chicopee, died on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. Ann was born on December 2, 1929 in Holyoke and was the daughter of the late John and Theresa (Deren) Luszcz. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr and a 1947 graduate of Chicopee High School. She was employed at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. after graduating from high school. Ann also worked at the USO Center in Chicopee Falls. Ann enjoyed going to the casino with her sister, watching the Boston Red Sox and attending the St. Stanislaus Basilica Bazaar. She also liked to cook, sew and do crafts. Ann enjoyed going to lunch with the UniRoyal Luncheon Group and Chinatown Reunion Group. Besides her parents, Ann is predeceased by her husband, Chester J. Cyboron, who died in 1979 and her son, Kenneth Cyboron; a grandson, Christopher St. Marie and her siblings, Thaddeus and Joseph Luszcz and Helen Skiba. She is survived by her three children, Donna St. Marie of Unionville, CT and sons, Jeffery and Michael “Mickey” Cyboron of Chicopee. She also leaves her grandchildren, Noah Cyboron (Cathy), Brian St. Marie (Brittany), Jeremy St. Marie (Jessie) and Anne MacPherson. Ann also leaves four great grandsons, her sisters, Jean Szczepanik of Palmer and Mary Phillips of Springfield, plus many special nieces, nephews and cousins and a her best friend her whole life, Ester Asselin of Chicopee.
Ann’s funeral will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls at 9 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours are on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm.
