Bruce N. Cabrini, 78, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 2, 1939 in Springfield to the late Nello and Florence (Smith) Cabrini. Bruce was a U. S. Navy veteran and served on the USS F. D. Roosevelt. He retired after a thirty eight year career as an Aircraft Engineer at Pratt and Whitney. Bruce enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching football (Patriots) and baseball (Red Sox), hunting and fishing. Every day was an adventure with Bruce finding a new restaurant, exploring a new location and enjoying every mile along the way. He leaves his loving wife, Ann M. (Zak) Cabrini, his cherished daughters Lana Cabrini and her fiancé, Cesar Colon and Gisele Meunier and her husband, Roland Meunier; his four grandchildren, Danielle, Jack, Lian and Nellarose, who all held a special place in his heart, along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Bruce N. Cabrini, Jr and his sister, Gail (Cabrini) Paiva and her husband, Richard Paiva. Bruce had a strong voice, a big heart and larger than life personality. He will be sadly missed by all who touched his life. Bruce’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls at 10 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St. in Chicopee at 11 am. His burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm.
