Dorothy A. (Gilman) Leitl, 65, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2019. She was employed as a billing clerk at C. A. Smith Lumber in Ludlow. She was born on November 9 1953 in Northampton and the daughter of the late George and Bernice (Prema) Gilman. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Rocky (her cat), cooking, the beaches in Maine and going to the casinos. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Leitl, three daughters, Tina Plante and her husband, Jonathan of Chicopee, Mariah Leitl and her partner Stephen and Marissa Leitl, of Chicopee; one son, Christopher Rollins and his wife Heather of Florida; two sisters, Shirley Bigelow and her husband, Robert of Westfield and Barbara Mailhott and her husband, Joseph of Belchertown; three grandchildren, Kailyn Plante, Dominic and Keith Rollins and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy is predeceased by two sisters, Linda Menard and Norma Young. Calling hours will be on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 10 to 12 noon at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls.
