Elizabeth G. (Gilfillan) Campbell, 87, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Vero Health and Rehab in South Hadley. Elizabeth “Betty” was born in Motherwell, Scotland on May 10, 1933 and moved to the United States in 1949. Betty worked at Stop & Shop and Sears for many years. Betty is survived by her two sons, Bruce Walmer of West Springfield and Keith Walmer of Chicopee and her stepson, Robert Campbell and his wife, Janice of Chicopee, as well as grand daughters, Melissa Walmer, Ashley Walmer, Elizabeth Walmer and Christina Walmer as well as several great grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, Nick Campbell in 2009, daughter Elizabeth (Campbell) Scott in 2019 and step daughter, Janet Ann in 1995. There will be no calling hours and burial is at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
