Florence C. Bourdeau, 97, died peacefully at Embrace Hospice House, Myrtle Beach, SC. Born on November 20, 1923 in Chicopee, MA she was the daughter of the late Mark and Karoline (Glowaeka) Bogdan. Florence (Pat, as she liked to be known), was predeceased by her 10 sisters and one brother. She was also a resident of Chicopee, MA most of her life prior to her move to South Carolina and ultimately, to North Carolina. Pat is survived by her children, Lawrence T. Bourdeau and his wife, Doreen, of Chicopee, MA, Susan Hefner of Sunset Beach, NC and Lauren Finley and her husband, Jim of Pinehurst, NC, four grandchildren, Amelia, Larry, Brian, Kate and five great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Lawrence A. Bourdeau, who passed in 2015 and her son in law, Steven Hefner. Inurnment will be private at the Massachusetts State Veterans Cemetery in Agawam, MA and at the convenience of the family.
