Gertrude A. (Wilkisus) Wilkins Kusek, 91, of Chicopee, died on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Willimansett East Nursing Center. She was born on June 8, 1925 in Chicopee Falls to the late Beni and Alice (Kwajauskas) Wilkisus. Gertrude was a 1942 graduate of Chicopee High School. She lived in Springfield most of her married life. Gertrude is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kobierski and her husband, Chester of Chicopee and two grandchildren, Alison Kobierski of Watertown and Steven Kobierski of Springfield. She is predeceased by a sister, Anna McNulty. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery There are no calling hours.
