Jane V. (Rodzen) Chmura, 93, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. She was employed as a sewer at Buxton Corp. Jane was born on November 6, 1927 in Chicopee and was the daughter of the late Peter and Veronica K. (Kaszowicz) Rodzen. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr. Jane enjoyed her trips to Poland, Florida and Cape Cod. Besides her parents, Jane is predeceased by her husband, Anthony S. Chmura, a brother, Mieczyslaw Rodzen and three sisters, Stella Borys, Adele Wondolowski and Frances Mielnikowski. She is survived by her nieces, Elaine Manseau, Geraldine Calento and her husband, Carmine and Mary Ann Placzek; a grandnephew, Paul Calento and his wife, Antonietta and a great grandnephew, Mathewos. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at St. Stanislaus Cemetery at 10am. Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
