Jennie (Kupiec) Haney, 82, of Chicopee, died on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on June 11, 1936 in Chicopee. Jennie was the daughter of the late Frank F. Kupiec, Sr. and Amelia (Prystupa) Kupiec. She worked as a bookkeeper many years for various businesses and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Westfield. Jennie loved roller and ice skating. She enjoyed making quilts and was an avid English Hand Bell Ringer. Jennie loved her cat, family gatherings and being with her grandkids. Besides her parents, Jennie is predeceased by her brother, Frank Kupiec, Jr. She is survived by two sons, Rev. Bruce Arbour and is wife, Audrey Altstadt of Hadley and Lawrence Arbour and his wife, Cyndi of Washington; seven grandchildren, Emily Chandler and her husband, Steve, David Arbour and his wife, Rachel Trafford, Patrick Arbour, Nicholas Arbour, Christopher Arbour, Franklin Arbour and Claire Arbour; six great grandchildren, Ethan, Wyatt, Benjamin, Cole, Elisa and Emery. Jennie’s funeral will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church on 16 Court St. in Westfield at 10 am., followed by her burial in Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours are on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 16 Court St., Westfield, MA 01085.
