Lillian M. (Mironowich) Sydlo, 82, of Springfield, died on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Vibra Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Western Mass. She was born on October 31, 1933 in Springfield. Lillian was the daughter of the late Akim and Olga (Timoshuck) Mironowich. She was married 54 years to her husband, Alfred J. Sydlo, until his passing this past May 3rd, 2016. She was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus and a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 452. She is survived by her two daughters, Theresa Gibson and her husband, Don of Westfield and Sandra Ward and her husband Fredd of Hartford, CT and four grandchildren, Nate, Lindsey, Cassidy and Dylan. A calling hour will be held on Saturday morning, October 8, 2016 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee from 8:30 to 9:30 am, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus at 10 am.
