Mary Ann (Gay) Larkin, 76, of Chicopee, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Mont Marie Healthcare Center in Holyoke. She was born December 31, 1941 in Holyoke. Mary Ann was the daughter of Edward S. and Rita (Picard) Gay. She was a communicant of St. Anne Church in Chicopee and worked for the Ludlow School System as the Food Service Director. Mary Ann is survived by her three children, Robert Larkin and his wife, Barbara of Chicopee, William T. Larkin of Clarkston, MO and Sandra A. Rougeaux and her husband, Robert of Newton; a brother, Edward S. Gay Jr. and his wife, Connie of Bangor, ME; a sister, Joyce E. Gay and her husband, Bernard of South Hadley; four grandchildren, David Larkin, Katie Larkin, Michael Larkin and Estelle Rougeaux; three step-grandchildren, Darcy, Audrey, and Robert Rougeaux and several nieces and nephews. Mary Ann’s funeral will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St., in Chicopee Falls at 12:00 noon followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Anne Church, 30 College St. Chicopee at 1 pm. Her burial will be at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
