Mary Jane A. (Masse) Champagne Pelletier, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Holyoke Health Care Center. I will meet my Savior when he calls me home. She was born in Fall River on July 4, 1922, but has been a lifelong resident of Chicopee. Mary Jane was the daughter of the late Ovila and Blanche (Desnoyers) Masse. She was born again February 24, 1984. Mary Jane was a graduate of the Doerr Academy and for twenty five years a hairdresser in her home. She is predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Champagne and her second husband, Hector Pelletier and her sisters, Cecile Champagne and her husband, Arthur and Lillian Georges and her husband, Theofany, and an infant brother, Rene. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Kulac and her husband, Theodore of New Britain, CT, her son, Roger Champagne of Arizona, a daughter-in-law, Debra Sanders, step daughter, Charlotte, grandsons, Timothy and Adam Kulac, Roger and Phillip Champagne and great grand children, Nicole, Brynn, Shannon, Patrick and Bryce. Mary Jane leaves loving nieces and nephews, Richard Champagne and wife, Pauline of Holyoke, Lorraine Hilker and husband, Robert of MD, Estelle Tack and husband Wayne of Granby, Daniel Chapagne and wife, Sherrie of FL, Ronald Georges and his wife, Elaine of Chicopee and Donald Georges and his wife, Fenghua Yu of Granby and many great grand nieces and nephews. Mary Jane loved to share her soups and meatloafs with her friends and neighbors. She enjoyed all her trips to Florida with her favorite cousins. Mary Jane wants to thank her daughter for calling her everyday on her lunch hour and the flowers that were sent on Easter, Birthdays and Christmas. She also wants to thank Pastor Daniel Peloquin and his wife, Jacque and her church family for all the love showed to her in her time of need. Praise God for his love and strength every day. A graveside service will be held for Mary Jane on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee at 12 noon. Due to Covid-19 masks and social distancing are required.
