Norman E. Boardman, Jr., 63, of Chicopee, died on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born in Holyoke and was the son of the late Norman E. Boardman, Sr. and Theresa M. (Morin) Boardman Bruno. He is survived by his sisters, Eva Blanchard of Oklahoma, Diane Dion of Holland, MA, Jeannette Tetrault of Southampton, Ann DeVoid of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Norma Ejsmont of Chicopee, Linda Jendrysik of Island City, OR and Tina Curtis of Enterprise, OR. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister. Elizabeth Moses. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee Center. Burial will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Precious Blood Cemetery in South Hadley at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Commission of the Blind, 436 Dwight St. Ste. 109, Springfield, MA 01103.
