Robert E. Lonczak, 70, of Chicopee, died on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Elaine Center at Hadley.  He was born June 25, 1945 in Chicopee, and was the son of the late Edmund and Stefania (Litwin) Lonczak.  Robert was a 1963 graduate of Chicopee High School, a Vietnam Army Veteran and an automobile mechanic.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and modified racing at Riverside Speedway.

Robert is survived by a brother, Gary J. Lonczak and his wife, Darlene of Chicopee; nephews, Jason Lonczak and his wife, Moriah of Chicopee, Matthew DeCara and his husband, Amedeo of Chicopee, and Don Lonczak and his wife, Virginia of McLean, VA; a niece, Jennifer Sowers and her husband, Michael of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a sister-in-law, Marie Lonczak of Chicopee and his companion, Marlene Spillane of Chicopee.  Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Donald J. Lonczak.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Liturgy of Christian Burial on Friday, October 30, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 56 St. Anthony St. in Chicopee at 10am.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life Choice Hospice of Western Massachusetts, 15 Midstate Dr. Suite 215, Auburn, MA  01501
