Steven D. Duffy, 48, of Chicopee, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on November 26, 1971 in Holyoke and grew up in Chicopee. Steven was the son of Joseph W. and Judith H. (Gavin) Duffy. He graduated from Chicopee High School and Holyoke Community College and then transferred to the University of Plymouth in England. He was a Biology Major. Steven worked in Pharmaceutical Health Trials for years in Framingham, MA, San Diego and currently remotely from North Carolina in a health trial company as project director. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Michael J. Duffy and his wife, Renee and Patrick T. Duffy, nieces, Rebecca and Madison, and nephews, Sean, Ryan and Eli, and his best friends, his English Bulldogs, Hogger and Goblin. He will be missed by many people. Calling hours for Steven will be on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St in Chicopee Falls from 4 to 7 pm. There will be a service at the funeral home on Friday at 11 am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the the Moose Family Center, 244 Fuller Rd., Chicopee, MA 01020.
