Susan A. (Ross) Dziedzic, 57, of Chicopee died peacefully Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at home. She was employed for many years in the Food and Nutrition Services department at Baystate Medical Center. Susan was born July 23, 1960 in Springfield. She was the daughter of Jane W. (Ross) Brueno of Enfield and the late William C. Ross Jr. Susan grew up in Enfield, CT, attended Fermi High School and moved to Chicopee as a young adult. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert J. Dziedzic, whom she’s been with for the past twenty-five years. She is also survived by a daughter, Jennie Nai and her husband, Thomas of Enfield, step-daughter, Dawn Presz and her husband, Joseph of Chicopee; step-sons, Robert J. Dziedzic and his wife, Christine of West Springfield and James Dziedzic and his wife, Lori of Chicopee; brother, Kenneth Ross and his wife, Corinne of Enfield and sisters, Lois Metivier of Enfield and Jean Petrone and her husband, Robert of Suffield. Susan is also survived by her three grandsons Dominick, Dalton and Dash who were her pride and joy and she referred to as “her boys”, as well as many other extended family members. Besides her father, Susan is predeceased by her brother, Scott Ross. Susan enjoyed going to the beach, gardening and tending to her plants and flowers and was a loving friend to all who knew her. Calling hours are on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee Falls from 5 to 7 pm. Burial will be private.
