Wayne R. Lancto, 70, of Chicopee, passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2021 at home. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY. The beloved son of the late Leonard and Marion (Quincey) Lancto. Wayne had a career of fifty-one years at the former A. G. Spalding Corp. now Callaway Golf in Chicopee. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Gozgit and her husband, Joe of Framingham, two brothers, Peter Lancto of Chicopee and Brian Lancto and his wife, Donna of Ludlow, a sister, Robin Cassells and her husband, Dave of Southwick; grandchildren, Stella and Aj Gozgit and many nieces and nephews. Wayne is predeceased by his brother, Alan Lancto. Wayne was a loving father, a proud grandpa, a loyal brother and cherished his many friendships. The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Wayne. He loved watching football, baseball and working on his tan. He always had music playing: oldies, Beatles and classic rock. He could always bring a smile to your face with his fun humor. His kind heart will be deeply missed by many. To say a finale goodbye to Wayne, a graveside service will be held at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11 O’clock.
