William R. Morehouse, Jr. 59, of Springfield, died on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He worked in the maintenance department for the City of Chicopee Parks and Recreation Department. Bill was born on December 9, 1961 in Springfield and was the son of Gayle (Surprenant) Morehouse and the late William R. Morehouse, Sr. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, coaching baseball and going to Dunkin’ Donuts. Bill was a huge Red Sox Fan. Besides his mother, Gayle, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shari L. (Robinson) Morehouse; daughters, Jacqulyn Jackson and her husband, Ramon of Chicopee and Anistazzia Morehouse of Florida; and a son, William Robinson and his wife, Felicia of Springfield and six grandchildren, Jamel, Layla, Maddie, Semorya, Camden and Antonio. Bill was a loving husband and devoted father. He had a beautiful personality, that could hold a conversation like no other. Family and friends can attend a walk-thru wake on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee.
